My husband and I have recently made some huge decisions that we felt like God has called us to do. It's exciting and faith building and scary all at the same time. It's been faith stretching for sure, something i have always wished i could experience.
I love the message that this book gives....hope. It's not often that you read a book that encourages you to step out and chase down a lion! I mean it's probably one of the most foolish things a person can do considering what odds are against us. But God says something completely different when it comes to trusting Him and having faith in Him. It doesn't matter how big the Lion is or how scary the Lion may be. God promises that He has already prepared in advance, things for us to do! So if we are doing what is in the WILL of God we can't go wrong.
Isaiah 55:8 also says "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,declares the LORD."
This verse has given me so much comfort over the past month or so. During the times that i feel like I am being foolish and chasing after something so much bigger than I am, God reminds me how powerful and mighty He truly is.
